Policies & Procedures
Whatever the policy or procedure, it is there to support us in offering choice and building our services around you. As you would expect we have many policies and procedures which are all in place to make Bridgewood a safe and welcoming place for you to be.
We have operational manuals for all our activities, a detailed policies manual and a health and safety manual. The Trust’s quality management system covers all aspects of the Trust’s operations, including support functions like purchasing, finance, recruitment, staff training as well as our core service delivery. We have Staff Handbooks, a Training and Development programme, Members and Trustee Welcome packs.
For many years we have had a quality assurance scheme ISO 9001 registered with ISOQAR and we are also CHAS registered (The Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme).
All our services have their own brochure incorporating Statements of Purpose, and Service User’s guides. Not surprisingly we have a large number of regulatory bodies. We are registered and regulated by the Care Quality Commission, The Charity Commission and local authority contracts departments.
Bridgewood Trust have also signed up to the Driving Up Quality code. We are currently working on our self assessment and will publish our results shortly.
We want to be fit for purpose and good at what we do. This is why we see all those who regulate and advise us as part of the team and welcome their involvement.
If you would like any further details of any of our policies and procedures, please just ask. They are all in place for you.
