Colne House, Slaithwaite
Colne House is situated above Slaithwaite village and provides support for seven people. We are on several bus routes or if you fancy a walk, quaint local shops and a friendly welcoming local community is nearby. Slaithwaite is steeped in tradition, the locals are friendly and there are some very nice places to eat if you enjoy a meal out.
Slaithwaite offers some very traditional events; one of the most famous being the Moon Raking Ceremony on the Huddersfield canal. At nearby Marsden is the famous Standedge Tunnel where you can while away the time walking by, or boating along the canal, or even taking a train ride,
